Authentic Passion
God's Church is made up of different people, with different problems and needs, who seek to draw closer to Christ for their salvation and for His glory.

A Church Passionate for God
At Harvest, we strive to have an authentic passion for God, no matter who we are, what personalities we have, or what potential we possess.
We began our journey as a church in the summer of 2018, when a small group of believers from Timișoara came together to glorify God through making disciples. Harvest Timișoara is part of a family of national and international churches, Vertical Church Europe, whose origins trace back to Harvest Bible Fellowship in Chicago, USA.
Our Specificity
Expository-Application Preaching
Verse by verse, chapter by chapter, we seek to understand God's Word for us. We believe that the Bible must be studied in its plenary sense and in its historical-social context, but it must also be applied in a relevant and practical way to our daily lives.

Contemporary Worship Without Compromise
We seek biblical worship in a style and language that resonates with the contemporary generation. The chosen songs are participatory and vertical, grounded in Scripture. The church is encouraged to worship with their whole being, within the boundaries of Scripture.

Small discipleship groups
The framework chosen by God to make disciples is the small group. Salvation is individual, but the Christian life is communal. The Lord Jesus chose the small group to be the laboratory for shaping His disciples. Therefore, the churches in the Vertical Church Europe family are not churches with small groups, but churches made up of small groups.

Leadership by Elders
God has chosen to lead His church through elders. Elders are those who protect and are responsible for the doctrine, direction, and discipline of the church. They are faithful men chosen and validated by Him based on a specific vision and calling. Among them are the pastors of the church, who, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, make decisions by consensus within the team.

Biblical counseling
God can bring restoration to every person's life. The premise of biblical counseling is the Holy Scripture, in which God "has given us everything we need for a godly life" (2 Peter 1:3), and the power of the Holy Spirit, which can transform a person's life, offering healing, deliverance, and transformation through repentance, prayer, and the support of believers.

Strategic integration into the local church
Even though salvation and a relationship with God is and must be personal, life lived with God is not individual, but communal. Scripture teaches us in 1 Corinthians 12:13 that we were baptized (individually) by one Spirit to form one Body (a communal purpose). In other words, there is no believer without the Church, just as there can be no Church without believers. This is the biblical reason why, in Vertical Churches, we have a clear and well-defined system for integrating people into the local church. In this way, the believer becomes part of the Body of Christ not only in a "spiritual" and general sense but also in a "physical" and local sense.

Intentional ministry
The way God intended His Church, and even the metaphors used to describe the Church (Body, building, field), convey what He intended for every believer: involvement with all that He has blessed them with! That is why He Himself distributes gifts and talents to every believer, expecting them to invest them (see the parable of the talents and minas), and to reward them in eternity. (1 Corinthians 3:9-15) In other words, every blessing requires responsibility! However, we know that serving or taking responsibility often doesn’t come “naturally”, especially when it is voluntary. For this reason, in VCE, we are encouraged to serve intentionally — not just if we “feel like it,” if we receive something in return, or if we are in the right mood — but for the glory of God and with gratitude for everything we receive from His hand.

Periodic evaluation
God is interested in quality and faithfulness, both in life and in ministry. That is why, in our church, a specific vision is set annually, based on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in accordance with the needs of the church, with measurable objectives that are intentionally and periodically evaluated throughout the year by the church elders and ministry leaders.

Dynamic multiplication
We want the churches in the Vertical Church Europe family to be churches that multiply disciples, leaders, ministries, and churches. That is why, within VCE, the Church Planter Training Center operates, where our workers interact with, train, and mentor future church planters from the country and from Europe, as well as their teams, to succeed in multiplying at all these levels. Organization and functional structures
God is the most organized person in the Universe. Everything He creates is complex, structured, calculated down to the millimeter, and functional. It is no coincidence that the Church created by Christ (Matthew 16) is likened to a Body (1 Corinthians 12), where we have organization and functional structures of the organism, or a building (1 Corinthians 3:9, 1 Peter 2:5) that has form, design, and structure, according to the purpose and destination of the building. Even within the church, the Holy Spirit gives gifts according to each person's strength, calling, and specific ministries, following a process of evaluation and accountability. For these reasons, Vertical Churches have taken organization and structuring seriously in a practical and functional way, so that the ministry can develop toward excellence, multiply, and support the diversity of service, thus fulfilling their purpose: the glorification of God.
