The life of Harvest Timișoara Church goes beyond a Sunday worship service. It’s about serving one another, our families, friends, and the communities we come from. So many things happen here! We want to make sure you can get to know them in the simplest and most practical way possible. Now is the perfect time to take the next steps.
Our desire is to get to know and spiritually care for everyone who comes to this place.

Small Groups

What is a Discipleship Small Group?
A discipleship small group is a group of disciples or believers who meet regularly (weekly) and in an organized manner with the specific purpose of growing in faith and authentic living before God, according to the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. The group will consistently focus on both the participants' growth in the spiritual disciplines of their personal walk with God and their communal walk with the children of God who make up the local Church.
Who can participate in a Small Group?
Participants in a small group are primarily believers, members of Harvest Church. If there are "seekers" — individuals who are open to the Gospel but have not yet received it — and who attend our church and wish to join a small group, they will be assigned by the coordinators of the Small Groups ministry.
What are the objectives of a Discipleship Small Group?
Active fellowship of the group members
In the Small Group, participants teach, encourage, and correct one another in order to motivate each other toward a lifestyle that honors and glorifies God.
Spiritual care and mutual accountability of the members
Pastoral care, especially expressed through accountability, is an act of openness and vulnerability by the participants toward the rest of the group. It aims at "living in the light" regarding tendencies, habits, struggles, or burdens that dominate the believer's heart.
Practical discussion of Scripture
The biblical discussions within the group will continuously aim to apply the ideas and principles to the daily lives of the participants, avoiding lengthy or unhelpful biblical and doctrinal debates.
Prayer Time
Prayer is one of the fundamental components of every Small Group meeting, with participants being encouraged to engage in intense and faith-filled prayers, both for themselves and their families, as well as for the group and the church.
Active ministry
Ministry is not an option in the life of a disciple. Therefore, within the small group, members will seek to minister to one another and identify opportunities for ministry both within the church and outside of it.
Multiplication of leaders
The small group is the context in which committed and called believers are identified. After specific equipping, they will have the capacity to lead other believers in their spiritual formation within the small group.
Multiplication of the small group
The church, and more specifically the small group, are spiritually living structures with a dynamic of growth, formation, maturation, and multiplication. Practically, every small group has the perspective of receiving new participants, and over time, multiplication occurs, meaning the group splits into two other groups that will, in turn, be able to welcome new members.
